The Divided Line is the University of Pennsylvania’s premier political talk radio show and is affiliated with The Penn Political Review and the Penn Government and Politics Association. Broadcasting at WQHS from Seltzer Family Studio at the Hollenback Center, the show is dedicated to bringing political dialogue to airwaves online and across the greater Philadelphia region. The show highlights PPR writers and hosts guests and affiliates from around the world to bring listeners up to date with the most important news and politics.
The Divided Line Team The show is hosted by Will Shirey, a senior (C ’17). As enigmatic as he is insightful, Will majors in history. An avid fisherman, Will is most proud of the marlin he caught on his skiff off of Cuba. The Divided Line is also hosted by Sarah Simon, a senior (C ’17). Sarah is the President Emeritus of the Government and Politics Association and a major in political science, with a focus in education. The show is produced by James Hiebert, a Sophomore (C’ 19). James is interested in American labor relations and majors in Communications and Economics. He believes “radio is the future, and the future is now!”
